Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012

I watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show this year just like I do every year, but this year it was more elaborate, glamorous and memorable than any of the past ones! It was phenomenal, ranging from circus themes all the way to glitter and feathers! With Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber performing, it was magical. The show started off with the theme of circus where my favourite was by far Izabel Goulart who wore this sexy snake charmer outfit.

Then it was Dangerous Liaisons with a performance by Rihanna singing her hit single "Diamonds". Constance Jablonski wore a pink & blue almost fairytopia like outfit, with these gorgeous wings!

Then Bruno Mars performed his hit single "Locked Out of Heaven", while the Calendar Girls walked out on to the run way.. For March (my birthday month), Hilary Rhoda wore a Saint Patrick's Day inspired outfit..Notice her legs...ohmygod!!

The one for July, which portrayed a 4th of July themed outfit, was worn by Lily Aldridge. Stars and Stripes!

Next was the Pink Ball which featured my personal favourite model; Cara Delevingne!! She was wearing this adorable pink and turqoise outfit, which fit perfectly with her mousy brown hair. She walked down the runway to Justin Beiber performing his hit single "Beauty and A Beat".

Time for glitter and feathers..a classic look for Victorias Secret Angels. My other favourite model, Doutzen Kroes...well, wow just wow.

In the final set, Angels in Bloom Rihanna performed once again before herself taking to the runway too show off her amazing self. She was stunning as always. My favourite from this section was Alessandra Ambrosio who wore giant pink orchid wings.

not too sure how i feel about Rihanna's cardigan tied around her waist though...One thing is for sure though, the 90s are back!

The outfits were all amazing and all the sexy shoes were designed by Nicholas Kirkwood. Mimi. xx

Guess who's back? Back again?

Hi Guys, The reason I haven't blogged so much lately, is mainly because when I set up this blog a bit more than a year ago, I had aimed it to only last until I finished "year 11" so that I could look back on that final year at rygaards, in my old age haha. I never thought it would get so big through, with almost 670 views a day!! you guys are amazing. So after alot of thought, I figured why not just continue...so i will! sorry for the delay, but I'm back y'all, and back for good. :) xx

Bullying.........

I thought I'd post something on a more serious note today. I was on Twitter yesterday, when I kept seeing tweets which said "RIP Amanda Todd"..curiosity got the best of me and i decided to look further into it. Now there were even more tweets and trends like "Here's Amanda's story..nobody should be treated this way", "retweet and spread her story to stop bullying" "RIP Amanda Todd, so young so beautiful.".......... Then I found the video. In the video it was Amanda who explained her story. She was in 7th grade when she went on webcam to make new friends. They started calling her things like "beautiful", "stunning", "perfect" etc. One guy asked her to strip...she did...that was her one mistake. A year later she got a message on Facebook..from that guy..she didn't know how he knew her, but he knew her address, her friends, her school, the names of people in her family...The message said "If you don't put on a show for me I will send your boobs to everybody". Amanda ignored the message. Christmas break came around, and Amanda got a knock on her door at 4am. It was the police. The picture had been sent to everyone. Everyone lost respect for her and she lost all her friends. She moved school. Amanda started to become really sick with frequent anxiety attacks, major depression and panic disorders. All because of that one little mistake she had made years ago. Amanda moved on to drugs and alcohol...her anxiety got worse and she couldn't even go out anymore. A year passed, and the guy had now gotten a hold of a list of names of her new friends, and her new school. He made a Facebook page, and posted Amanda's boobs as his profile picture. Amanda lost all her respect people had for her and her friends, again. Just because of one mistake. She cried herself to sleep...if only that one little thing had never happened...Nobody liked her anymore, she was called names and she was judged..She began cutting..she sat alone at lunch. So she moved schools again... even though she still sat alone, everything was better here..A month later Amanda began talking to an old guy friend. They texted back and forth, he told her he liked her...he led her on...He had a girlfriend, but he led Amanda on telling her he'd soon end things so be with her. He asked her to come over, his girlfriend was away on holiday. Believing he truly liked her, she went. They hooked up. One week later Amanda got a text saying "get out of your school". The boy's girlfriend and 15 others including the boy surrounded her. His girlfriend pointed out bitterly that nobody liked her. Someone from the back yelled "punch her already"..and so she did. Amanda was knocked to the ground and punched several times. A few kids took videos..teachers came out, but Amanda lied and said it was her fault, She didn't want the boy getting hurt, she really believed he liked her..he just wanted her body. Amanda went and hid in a ditch. Her dad found her hours later. He brought her home. She thought nobody deserves this. She drank bleach in the hopes of ending her life. She almost did. Her insides were almost killed and she was rushed to the hospital where she was flushed. She came home to find messages on Facebook saying "drink more bleach bitch", "i hope she dies", "next time try a different bleach you stupid whore"....Nobody cared. Amanda moved to her mum's. to a new city, a new school...Amanda didn't press any charges because she so desperately just wanted to move on. 6 more months go by....People are constantly uploading pictures of bleach and ditches and tagging her. Amanda was doing a lot better, but the posts just kept coming "i hope she dies" "drink more bleach and bury yourself in that ditch" It got too much, Amanda couldn't bare it anymore. Her anxiety got worse and she couldn't leave her house all summer. she became more and more depressed. She took counselling courses and anti-depressant pills..she overdosed herself once and spent 2 nights in hospital. Amanda made a mistake a long time ago, but she had moved away from those people, from that city, but they kept on following her with those posts. Amanda made a video about this, and her last post was "I have nobody. I need someone :(" On Wednesday the 10th October 2012, Amanda hung herself. I don't quite know how to react. I don't really know what to say to it either. I have 10000 opinions and things I want to say, but I can't seem to formulate them properly, not one single one. This is not ok. Amanda was a beautiful girl, and even though I didn't know her personally, and in fact didn't even know her until yesterday when I heard about this.. I wish I had. I wish I could have been there to help Amanda in some way. Nobody deserves to feel that way to need to end their lives. She made one mistake, but people had to keep bringing it up. I know that there's unfortunately many others around there who're in a similar position to Amanda...please, speak out before it's too late. You can see from all the support Amanda got after people like me found out about her, people who care. There are actually people in this world who will care if you share your story, even if it seems like there's no one you know. Share your story on the internet, that's probably the fastest way to get people to hear you out. I know people may judge and say you're attention seeking, but if you're in that much pain, then regardless of what other people say, this is not attention seeking. I don't know how far this blog post will get, or if there is any purpose to it, other than me reflecting my feelings on this. But I know that this blog gets read in many parts of the world so if anyone dear to Amanda is reading this, I send my deepest and sincerest condolences to you. Amanda, I'm sure was a beautiful person. If you're reading this and happen to be in a similar position as Amanda,please say something. Get help before it's too late. You may think that ending your life is the easiest way out, but you don't realize how many others around you are put into guilt, and sadness and may even begin to do the same things you did (self-harm etc.), just because they weren't able to help. You've experienced the pain, and how awful it is to go through, I know you'd never wish for anyone to have to go through the same things..especially if it's a loved one. RIP Amanda Todd. Mihika

Welcome back to the world

Hi Guys, So I've finally gotten my computer back, and I've finally found the time to sit down with this blog again. IB is a killer...don't do the IB! ..no hahha, it's actually not so bad...it's just if you like slacking like me, you're gonna have a hard time! My new school (CIS) is going pretty good. Been there for just about 7 weeks now, so I'm starting to get the han of it...even though I'm counting down the days till Autumn Break (6 days!) The people here are so so so sweet, and I really like the atmosphere here...but the workload...fuck me :(¨ Dimma and dadu are here for about 7 weeks now, which is really hyggeligt. Always really cosy with the granparents around. I think some more family is coming too in the following weeks. Also...my VI UNGE magazine cover with ONE DIRECTION, finally came out :D leave a comment or private message and let me know what you think. I'll post a picture below. one last thing...I've now started playing the guitar too..masively excited about that..and my guitar is ohsopretty! Hope everyone's doing alright. Quick update

Hi blog,

Just wanted to make a quick update before I head off to bed...tomorrow I'm going of on a "social retreat" with my class until saturday, up in lyngby-taarnbæk where we're all doing different activities throughout the next two days. I'm canoeing tomorrow :D
I'm also sharing a room with 9 other girls- so excited!! :D

I will update in a few days on how it went, and I promise a post where I reflect on my thoughts and opinions of the first two weeks in CIS.

Monday came way too fast

Hi guys,

Today it finally felt like summer! Here in Denmark. In August. It was about 28 degrees which for here is a lot! So I'm happy! I went to sign up for dance today..can't wait till the season starts..then I can get ma boogie on ;)

On Friday we went into dyrehaven with the class (quick update on my new class/school - I really like it! Love my new friends and classmates, such awesome people) for the annual "putte velkomst" for all the people starting at gymnassium--- met all of the people from my old class who now go to BG, and also the Danes from Rygaards and a few others as well. So much music, so many drinks, SO much fun!

This weekend went by wayy to fast.. Hope you had a golden weekend, and have a wonderful rest of the week.

Tomorrow's a lot of firsts.First day of IB. First day of CIS. It's been 12 years since I last went into a new class at a new school, so I guess that can be called a first too. Spent the last day of my holiday first sleeping in, then net up with Joey by søerne and we got done lunch. Then went to do threading, and came back around 4, where I just got everything ready for tomorrow. Had an amazing dinner of wild rice, spinach and salmon tonight-- picture below..:)
-Also I am so fortunate that I have off at 12.20 tomorrow! :)) that's why I am going straight to the airport to pick up my grandparents who're coming tomorrow. Big big big day ( said in Effie trinket voice) !

I just cleaned the whole house...like legit cleaned. The past 3 hours it's all I've done! Feeling just a little bit proud of myself at the moment :p my mum and brother are coming home today afternoon and this evening is the Olympic closing ceremony. I'm not quite sure what to do with my life now that the Olympics are over, and I've spent the past 2 weeks just following it.. But I know the after party of the Olympics is gonna be awesome, so I am excited! X

Last week..

Hi guys..

Quite a bit has been going on lately so I figured I'd update you guys all in one post, because it's easier that way..eventhough it defies the general "rules" of blogging :p

I'm back in Denmark now. The journey back was not so great.. I ended up having soda leak in my bag, which also had my computer in it, so my computer is destroyed at the moment, which is horrible because that means I'm without a computer for the next few weeks :( so all my blogging is going to be through my phone for a while. Anyways, I had to wait alone in Dubai airport for 8 hours which was ugh! :(( but I walked around and did this and that, so I managed.

Then a couple of days later I had my photoshoot with Vi Unge! I can't even begin to tell you guys how awesome that was! Everyone from the makeup artists to the photographers were super sweet and encouraging. Not to mention all the wonderful things we got from them as a Thankyou :)) hahah I legit had a whole big bag filled with stuff from them ranging from makeup to CDs to iTunes money to flip flops! The magazine gets printed somewhere in the first week of September - So excited!

Spent the rest of the days hanging out with Elizabeth or Sabina or Ellie or caro, or just chilling by myself.

From tomorrow I have exactly one week left till I start CIS...:( summer can't be over already!

My IGCSE grades also come out in less than a week ...eek! I don't wanna see them!

Going shopping with Sabina tomorrow and then the next day going to see Step Up Revolution. Then there's CIS orientation on the 10th, and after that my holidays are practically over!

to much to say

Hi Guys, So much has happened I dont quite know how to put it into words....or how to start or end or anything really! I'll just start off....with the present. Right now I'm sitting and packing my suitcase while I watch the opening ceremony at the London 2012 Olympic Games. It's beautiful beyond words. Now why am i packing? I'm going back to Denmark tomorrow morning. I got a job offer with the danish magazine Vi-Unge, on their One Direction edition and they want me to be covegirl!! :D but because the photoshoot is already next week I have to cut my holiday here in India short and go home. :( Right now I'm in Calcutta, before this I was in Bangalore with the family, having an awesome time, and before that in pondicherry for a few days. that was an unforgettable trip!..before that i was in Calcutta again for 2 days, and before that we made a stop in dubai before I shall post pictures once I get home :) Thats just about it...guess i managed to present it all anyways..eventhough it's not my exact way of thinking of the situation..but thats hard to put into words. I hope you lovely readers are enjoying the summer to the fullest! lots and lots of love to you all :)x

Wimbeldon!

It's 9pm right now in India, and I'm sitting on the couch with a bowl of Ice cream, watching Wimbeldon with dada..Go Murray!! :D
I'm in Bangalore, India right now.. And tomorrow early morning I leave for pondy- an 8 hour bus ride, but then down to the seaside. It's gonna be awesome. Not done very much lately other than be lazy and eat lots, but then again, that's partly what summer holiday's are about ;)

Today I officially feel like my summer holiday has started, and it feels great! In a few hours, I'm heading off to Dubai, on the way to India.
I have no idea of how much Internet I'll have and how often I'll get to post, but I'll try as often as I can, and when I get back, I'll make a big long post with highlights of the summer and pictures.

Didi, Dada and Mashi DK trip

So like I had said before, my cousins and aunt were coming to denmark, now it's been 8 days, and they left back to India this morning. It was a wonderful week, with lots and lots and lots of food :/ ...here's a few pictures from le week :)

2 days away!

Hi guys :) Graduation is just two days away!! I'm actually quite excited. excited to hear everyone's speeches and see how everyone looks :) now with didi, dada and mashi here, It's been a busy week! I'm exaughsted. Jojo's over today :) we were watching a documentary on serial killers and she feel asleep. haha cutie!x tomorrow, we have rehearsal at school for friday. Graduation dress et Shoes

Hi Guys :) This week has been pretty busy, eventhough I'm on holidayy :P Went into school to return my books, on monday, and to figure out the speeches,and what not. one word - frustrating. -.-' anyways, then I went to strøget with olga, tiiu and kaiu, and then we went back to their house,and we made THE BEST orange/chocolate cake I have ever tasted. ahhh! always get such good food when I'm with friends..probably the reason I'm such a fatass...aha!x Tuesday...hmmm, what did I do on Tuesday?..I left tiiu and Kaiu's house around 1, and then...oh, and then I met my mummy and we went to fields to do some shopping, and maybe even find me a graduation dress..no luck on the dress that day though.. Wednesday, I really I found a dress on Zara.com, which I loooove! we ordered it, and it came the next dayy! graduation dress- check! Thursdayy was über warm..spent most of the day out in the garden. then for the rest of it, i spent cleaning every inch of my house. Didi and dada and mashi are coming tomorrow :-) so cleaning up like crazy for them! Today it's friday- friday friday gotta get down on friday! hahaha i'm sorry, now you're gonna have that stuck in your head for the rest of the day :P teehee! But today it's cold and pouring down with rain. Got ready really fast and met joey, afterwhich we went back to their house,and she made me such a nice cafe latte - see what i mean about getting fat because of friends!! - then not too long later Ellie came and joined us, and then caro came home, and we just chilled with lots of tea,coffee, and we made pancakes too :) Joey had to go golfing,and I had to head home to get all ready before Didi and Dada and Mashi come, so we both left after a bit, into the cold pouring rain again :( Caro and ellie stayed back for a bit, but they were both rushed aswell, so i dont think they were at the brysting casa much longer.. Tomorrow, didi, dada and mashi are coming!! third time i say it i know, but im so so excited for my aunt and cousins to be finally coming, just wish the weather was a bit better..but well, can't have everything I guess... adios! xxx (I'll post a picture of me graduation dress, in the next post!)

One day away

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the last post :p I'm still not sure how i managed to write a blog entry last Friday and not post it. Anyways, only a little has happened since then, my daddy came home today from India. and he brought back mangoes. Indian mangoes are the best. just saying :)

Yesterday, Arni went off with his class for a week-long trip to Prague, so me and mummy went to drop him off and then we met up for a little hyggeligt girls night out with my mum's friend and daughter - Chandni Aunty and Gayathri, to celebrate Gayathri's graduation.
We drove down standvejen, and ended up driving all the way up to Helsingør! We found a beautiful little place for dinner called "Gamle Humlebæk Kro". It was such a pretty place. It's summer, so we sat outside and we had the best steaks ever (well according to the other three- it was my first time having steak like that, so i wasn't one to judge). then we went for a little walk along the beach, afterwhich we drove back for another hour or so, and ended up in the center of strøget where we went in for coffee and cake, at around 23.00. :)
It was a definitely a nice evening :)

Today, I sort of attempted to go back into my studying zone. I have one last exam tomorrow- bio multipal choice; and then I'M DONE!  ahhhh! i get happy just thinking about it! Just under 16 hours until I officially have summer holidayss!! :D :D :D

I'm off to bed now, have to go into school at 14.00 tomorrow, for an hour, and then I've got babysitting. fuuun -.-

Weekend Warrior

THIS IS MY BLOG POST FROM FRIDAY. BECAUSE I'M AN IDIOT, I MANAGED TO SAVE IT IN DRAFTS RATHER THAN POST IT......


Hola!

On Wednesday,  like I said I would, I met up with Sabina in town. We walked around for about 4 hours or something. She actually found a lot to buy, and although I picked out 3 times as many things as her, i ended up buying nothing :P but it was so much fun just chillin with her (: I was dead when I got home.

Today I went back into town. haha :) except this time it was with mummy. and this time I did end up buying something! :D *proud*..i bought two pairs of shoes, and I saw an awesome dress, which maybe maybe maybe can be used for graduation (just under 3 weeks away!)  then Tiiu and Kaiu came over to my place to take a shower because their boiler broke :) hahaha.x

Tomorrow's going to be chill, I'm going to do nothing.at.all. just sleep. :)

Confessions...

I have a confession to make. I have been a horrible blogger lately. I said I would post pictures from the last post-didn't do that. I said I would update on my week- haven't done that either..and I missed Top 3 of the week AGAIN! I'm a disgrace I know...
But i will try to make up for it! Hopefully this will be a long blog entry with lots of updates, pictures and videos.

So to start from le beginning... In my last post I mentioned a surprise party for Sonia and Olga at Tiiu and Kaiu's house. As promised, pictures from there, with our if I may say, amazing ombré cake .. :)

That night was also Eurovision 2012,where Sweden ended up becoming the winner with the song below. Personally, I don't think it's the best song ever..but I did think it was a good winner song this year.(:

On Tuesday, I finished my last English and Physics papers. woop woop! :) and we even had sushi that night to celebrate. (that picture is on my instagram - 'mihikadeb')

Wednesday was the first night of Distortion, a street music festival in Copenhagen, which takes place over about 5 days, in different parts of the city. The first night it was in the main city. It was sooo cold, but so much fun!  few pictures beloww, sorry for the quality!!

Friday I went shopping with my mummy! I bought quite a few things; 2 pairs of jeans from ONLY, denim 3/4 pants from ONLY, black 3/4 haram pants from GINA TRICOT, flowery printed harampants from SAINT TROPEZ, a new bikini from WARP, open summery gladiator shoes from BIANCO, and a jumpsuit from H&M. Happy Dayys! :))

Yesterday and Today, I had my two Danish exams..bleh! but now i'm donee with those. Nicole came over afterwards today, and we just chilled at my house with SO much food! ahahha :D but it was so much fun with her.

Tomorrow, I'm meeting Sabina from my Jazz Dance group at Love2Dance, and we're going into town for a while. Will try and blog tomorrow night, and let you guys know the events of the day.

And finally, since we've missed Top 3 of the Week, last Friday (sorrysorrysorry!) i will post 3 videos that I've watched/listened to today.

This video is only 24 hours old. It's been jubilee weekend in the United Kingdom this weekend to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Queen Elizabeth's 60 years of service on the British throne. Yesterday, there was a huge concert for a crowd of millions, and many members of the royal family, and also the queen herself. Ed Sheeran was one of the performing artists. This video just makes me proud. It shows how far Ed really has come :') and his unbelievable talent to catch the attention of approx. 22 million viewers with just his voice and his guitar. This song is all the way back from 2009, and I had heard it a couple of times on the radio then, but was re-introduced to it today by Nicole. The lyrics are lovely, and the chorus is quite catchy :) Matt Nathanson - Come On Get Higher.
